Hi everyone and welcome to my Running World website. For many years I have enjoyed this activity and the ability to explore in some really beautiful locations and reap the health benefits associated with running. I am not, by any means, an expert, but I am always looking to improve myself, set goals, and support others through the common interest.
A Little Story About My Life and Running
Growing up I was always an active, yet overweight child. I enjoyed biking, baseball, and tennis. It was not until my second year of high school that I found running (Indoor Track and Cross-Country). While living in a few locations around the US, I continued to find peace with this activity, and with that, have enjoyed the adventure and challenge of a new run.
I have learned the importance of and the value of information about training, races, locations, safety, gear, and camaraderie. With that, I find it important to have the fellowship, in addition to the run.
Why I Want to Start This Page
As with myself, I know this activity is a great way to improve physical and mental health. I believe we can help each other to reach our personal goals and the challenges that come with them.
